Presentation, objectives and priorities

The EUROTANGO Project offers scholarships to Argentinian Doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers and academic staff so they can undertake a mobility period at one of the European Partner Universities.

TG2: Nationals from Argentina registered in an Argentinian non-Partner University, or who have obtained a university degree or equivalent from an Argentinian Higher Education Institution (includes nationals from Argentina working in Argentina in a public administration / public company / private company).


The Consortium has established an organisation structure with a Coordination Office at each partner institution in charge of advising potential candidates and supervising their application process (please, see the Contacts section).

EUROTANGO allocates 33% of the total mobility grants to TG2 applicants (please, check the Guidelines for a full definition), thus allowing the mobility of staff from the Argentinian administration and public and private sectors through doctorate and post-doctorate mobility grants.


The thematic study areas available are:

Agricultural Sciences (01), Engineering, Technology (06), Geography, Geology (07), Mathematics, Informatics (11) and Natural Sciences (13).

The EUROTANGO Partnership gives priority to mobility in the sub-fields listed below:

  • Agricultural sciences: Agriculture, Food Science and Technology, Forestry;
  • Engineering, technology: Engineering (all branches); Telecommunication; Material Sciences;
  • Geography, geology: Environmental sciences; Soil and water sciences; Energy;
  • Mathematics, informatics: Informatics and computer science.
  • Natural sciences: Natural sciences; Bio-chemistry; Bio-technology
